These terms apply when you use FinCtrlAI on the web or in the mobile apps. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
FinCtrlAI is a money-management tool: wallets, transactions, budgets, goals, reports, invoices, team workspaces and AI-assisted features. Features depend on your plan, and we may add, change or remove features over time.
Not financial, tax or legal advice
Reports, forecasts, insights and AI answers are informational estimates based on the data you enter. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Check important decisions with a qualified professional. AI can make mistakes, which is why AI suggestions are only saved after you confirm them.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password and verification codes private.
- You are responsible for activity in your account and in workspaces you own, including what members you invite can do.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
Plans, trial and payments
New accounts get a free trial of paid features for a limited time; after it ends the account moves to the Free plan unless a paid plan is chosen. Prices, limits and billing terms for paid plans are shown before you buy. Your data stays available when a plan ends, within the Free plan's limits.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC), which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, sales tax and VAT, invoices, refunds and billing questions, and its buyer terms apply to your purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel; you can cancel at any time from the Plan & billing page, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
Invoices you send your own clients through FinCtrlAI are paid to you directly, using the payment link you add; we are not a party to those payments.
Your data
You own the data you put into FinCtrlAI. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it and delete your account at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse FinCtrlAI: no illegal activity, fraud, money laundering, attempts to access other people's data, attacks on the service, automated scraping, or sending spam through invoices or notifications.
Availability
We work to keep FinCtrlAI available and your data safe and backed up, but the service is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, FinCtrlAI is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the service
You can stop using FinCtrlAI and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will notify you of important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without affecting mandatory consumer rights where you live.
